Environment: Gallery wall.
Materials: 4 nails, thick twine, charcoal (various), erasers.
Drawing Action: Nails are hammered into the wall, 6 inches below shoulder height and 2 feet apart. 4 feet of twine is threaded through the nails, each end is then tied to the artist’s hands. Using charcoal and erasers, artist move in concentric motions, pulling and feeding the twine back-and-forth, while always keeping the twine taut.
